Liquid Canvas is a multi-media SAAS platform that delivers content from your phone to the TV. Whether its Liquid Canvas art that we create or license for display on your TV, turning any room into an art gallery, OR its your own personal pictures or videos that can be shared with the TVs of family and friends, transforming your TV into a connected picture frame.
It’s simple. You download the Liquid Canvas mobile app (either for Apple or Android), you pick a subscription package (either Basic or Pro), you create a playlist (selecting art from our galleries or uploading your own personal content), you add or connect a device/TV to your account, and your off to the races.
In the mobile app there is a section to add a device. You give it a name, like My Living Room TV or Mom’s TV. If its your TV, then simply go to the TV, search the app gallery, download the Liquid Canvas TV app and it will provide you with a code. Enter that code into the device section on the mobile app and your phone and the TV will be connected.
If you have paid the Add-On fee to add a family or friends TV to your account, then a text message will be sent to the contact you supplied on the mobile app, informing them that they need to download the Liquid Canvas TV app from their TV’s app gallery. A code will be generated. They need to provide that code to you. You enter it into the Add a Device/TV section and then you’re connected.
Only your personal pictures and videos can be shared with a family or friend’s TV. You cannot share the Liquid Canvas art with them. They will need their own subscription to be able to turn their TV into an art gallery.
Yes. You can “Add-On” a Primary TV To Your Account.
Yes!
You are given 2Gs of storage in the Basic package and 4GBs of storage in the Pro. We will display for you how much you have used and you can always Add-On more storage at any time.
A playlist is a collection of content that you have selected to push through to a connected device/TV. As mentioned above, Liquid Canvas content cannot be pushed to Secondary TVs (those of family and friends). You can create multiple playlists. Each playlist will display the file size for that playlist, which is the aggregate file size for all of the content added to that playlist. Every time you push a new playlist to a connected TV, it wipes the old content off your TV’s hard drive to make room for the new content in this new playlist. You are limited each month to how much data/file size you can download/transfer to all TVs connected to your account. The system will display for you how much data/transfer you have used so far in a given month so you can decide if you want to purchase more and continue to push new playlists through to connected TVs or if you want to edit a playlist to keep it within your account’s monthly Download/Transfer Limit.
So, we do not stream the content to your TV. We push the playlists you create through to your TV’s own storage. Every time you change or create a playlist and push it to a device/TV, you are using up a portion of your Download/Transfer Limit. We will display for you how much you have used and how much your current playlist will consume. If you have or will reach your limit, then you can either:
A) modify or edit your playlist to remove select items and bring the size within your remaining limit or
B) you can purchase an Add-On to increase your limit.
Each month your limit resets.
Every TV is different. We dynamically determine your available storage on your TV and display that to you. This will determine how large a playlist you wish to push to a device/TV can be. If your TV has limited storage, then you will need to create smaller playlists (fewer items or content that is smaller in file size). We display for you the file size for all Liquid Canvas content and for your personal content that has been uploaded to your account.
Well… you can’t increase the max storage of your device, but other apps downloaded to your TV take up available storage on your TV. So if you do not use certain apps then you can delete them, thereby freeing up a portion of your TV’s storage.
